While we charge hourly rates which reflect our experience in the serious kinds of cases and matters we handle, we can be flexible with payment options, including flat fees, fees contingent upon various forms of success in non-criminal matters, and fees geared to various stages of litigation. We are always conscious of the fact that legal fees can become excessive unless closely monitored under arrangements in which everyone's expectations are understood. By keeping overhead low, we may tailor the fees to the client and the case more efficiently than larger firms. If brought-in to assist other counsel, we do only as much as needed to aid existing counsel. When referred cases by other lawyers, especially individuals with limited resources, we try to keep hours billed to a reasonable level, befitting the case. Above all, we select our clients carefully, treat our clients with respect and with complete good faith.
